JoJo Tann JD, MBA
Joseph ("JoJo") Tann, Esq. was born and raised in Flowood, Mississippi. He comes from a long line of attorneys as his only uncle and both grandfathers were all lawyers.
He attended the University of Mississippi on an athletic scholarship and was a member of the 2006 SEC Championship baseball team. In 2008, JoJo was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and graduated Summa Cum Laude as an Honors Scholar from the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College. He finished with a 4.0 overall GPA and was the only Psychology graduate to receive the University's highest academic honor, the Marcus Elvis Taylor Memorial Medal, which is awarded to less than 1% of the student body.
JoJo earned a Doctorate of Jurisprudence (J.D.) from Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2010. During law school, he was a Pedrick Scholar, Marshall-Brennan Fellow, and served as President of the ASU Environmental Law Society.
While working as in-house counsel for a national health care management firm, he earned a Master's degree in Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a certificate in Finance from W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
In 2021, JoJo earned his fourth degree, a Master's degree in Accountancy (M.Acc.) from the University of West Florida. Committed to lifelong learning, during the pandemic JoJo completed Harvard Law School's Program on Negotiation, Harvard Business School's Negotiation Mastery course, and also earned the Mass Tort MDL Certificate from Duke Law School's Bolch Judicial Institute.
JoJo and his wife, Jessica, have one son, Joseph, Jr. When he is not working or traveling, JoJo can usually be found reading, spending time outdoors, or exercising. JoJo is a two-time IRONMAN triathlon finisher.
